- Bordeaux 1975 (14/8/02) I find quality to be very patchy.
- Bordeaux 1964 (10/10/00) Two clarets from a patchy vintage.
- Bordeaux 1961 (15/6/07) A great vintage, but many wines tasted here were fading.
Loire Vintages
- Loire 2022 (11/4/23) A warm summer drought and a very early harvest.
- Loire 2021 (28/6/22) The biggest frost since 1991, and a late harvest.
- Loire 2020 (29/6/21) A record-breaking early harvest, with quality and quantity.
- Loire 2019 (25/2/20) Frost again, but richly styled wines.
- Loire 2018 (19/2/19, updated 9/8/22) A “once-in-a-generation” vintage.
- Loire 2017 (27/2/18, updated 20/7/21) More frost, but another fine vintage.
- Loire 2016 (23/5/17, updated 5/5/20) Frost-bitten, but very good quality in the end.
- Loire 2015 (9/2/16, updated 20/11/18) A rich vintage of exceptional quality.
- Loire 2014 (17/2/15, updated 27/6/17) Fine quality in all regions and many styles.
- Loire 2013 (25/2/14) Another difficult and complex vintage.
