Loire Tasting Snippets, 2018
Not every wine I come across slots neatly into a tasting report, especially odd bottles picked up from new or unfamiliar domaines. Included in this brief report is a selection of notes on wines that fit this description, including domaines I have yet to visit, cuvées never before encountered, and in one or two cases wines dragged up from my cellar that I though worthy of a tasting note.
Here, then, are a dozen notes featuring Sancerre, Vouvray, Chinon, St Nicolas de Bourgueil and an old friend from the Coteaux du Layon. (14/1/18)
