Château Hosanna: Tasting & Drinking
When tasting the wine of Château Hosanna under the auspices of Christian and Edouard Moueix in their quayside offices in Libourne, the wine tends to be offered for tasting towards the end of the line-up, an indication of how the Moueix clan see this wine within their portfolio. It follows a number of other notable names, including Château La Grave à Pomerol and Château Latour à Pomerol, the cleaved-off Château Certan-Marzelle and even Château La Fleur-Pétrus. That it follows the first two is perhaps not surprising in veri of the domaine’s position on the plateau, but to see it lined up after Château La Fleur-Pétrus, which does after all border both Château Lafleur and Petrus, should hammer home the exceptional potential of this terroir.
