Enclos Tourmaline: Tasting & Drinking
Despite that visit to meet the team at Château La Patache more than a few years ago my experience with the wines of Enclos Tourmaline remained practically non-existent until meeting the 2018 and 2019 vintages. These are great wines, hugely impressive, dark and intense, filled with complex flavours with call to mind black truffles, coffee and black bean, and a fabulously ripe structure. I take my hat off to all those involved in this project, as this is a smart addition to the Pomerol pantheon. (13/1/21, updated 24/8/24)
