Château La Dominique: Tasting & Drinking
The newly built cellars at Château La Dominique, complete with rooftop restaurant, are a striking sight, and it is notable of course that they can be seen from the next rooftop along, the new cellars at Château Cheval Blanc. It is tempting to view neighbours in any appellation as having some common features (especially when they share a boundary running for nearly a kilometre), and more often than not this approach has merit. After all, appellations are meant to relate to a style of wine, and to my mind that would suggest that any one appellation should have consistency of terroir.
