Clos Marsalette: Tasting & Drinking
If there is one characteristic of the wines of Clos Marsalette I would draw to your attention it is their remarkably consistency. Putting aside the red wine of the 2013 vintage, on which nobody deserves to be judged, these wines provide a comforting level of quality, steadily maintained, year-in, year-out. In that respect the domaine is a little like that other Neipperg estate, Château d’Aiguilhe, which to my mind (and palate) puts in a similar performance.
