Château Caillou: Tasting & Drinking
My experiences of the wines of Château Caillou concern only very recent releases. The wines have been good, sometimes admirable, although it is rare that I find them to be thrilling. The 2011, on which I comment here, was attractive if on the lighter side, the quality no doubt lifted somewhat by the benevolent nature of the vintage. The next comparable vintage was a rather charming 2014, with 2016 and 2015 trailing in behind. The 2013 and 2012 vintages were of less interest.
