Château Moulin Saint-Georges: Tasting & Drinking
While the wines of Château Ausone are certainly far out of financial reach for the great majority of us, thankfully the Vauthier family apply their exacting approach to viticulture and winemaking to a number of other domaines in St Emilion. For those looking for the first rung on the ladder it is towards Château de Fonbel that I would direct you. But, until recently at least, those looking for a small-scale version of Château Ausone, offering fine quality but also something approaching affordability, would have been best off tackling a bottle of Château Moulin Saint-Georges.
