Les Vignerons du Pallet: Tasting & Drinking
I find the concept of Les Vignerons du Pallet somewhat unusual. One of the fundamental tenets of any cru – and this is true of the crus communaux in Muscadet as much as anywhere else – is that the designation is related to terroir. Indeed, when the crus were created, the initial applications were for terroir-related names. The vignerons themselves proposed Granite de Clisson, for example; it was the INAO that put a stop to this hence today we have Clisson, Gorges, Le Pallet and so on.
