Château Rocheyron: Tasting & Drinking
My first ever visit to see Peter Sisseck at Château Rocheyron was a complete failure. The reason why? I had an appointment to see him on a Friday during the primeurs, if memory serves me correctly this was back in 2016. My Thursday flight out from London was cancelled, the consequence of an air traffic controllers’ strike, and I spent two days sitting in a budget hotel at Gatwick airport waiting for the next available flight, and by the time I made it to Bordeaux the opportunity was lost. Happily I have since been able to right this wrong, although not before time. There was a pandemic which also managed to get in the way, of course.
