Not alone, certainly, as there are a few other domaines working at a very similar level, but Rémi and Gwénaëlle surely deserve their place on the top tier. They could probably earn such a position just with the Briords cuvée, as this is not only one of the most striking, structured and minerally wines of the appellation, it is also a benchmark for the region, along with other classics such as Le L d’Or from Domaine Luneau-Papin and Fief du Breil from Jo Landron. There is no need to look any further than these cuvées for Muscadet at its best.
