Domaine des Echardières: Tasting & Drinking
The wines of Domaine des Echardières are quite joyous affairs. The entry-level Touraine Sauvignon Blanc perhaps aligns more closely to the caricatured style of Sauvignon Blanc from this region to which I alluded in my introduction to this profile, but the Touraine Chenonceaux La Long Bec is a significant step up, textural, polished and mineral. The reds are also worth experiencing, vibrant and fruit-rich, with a clean frame unfettered by oak.
