Domaine de la Sénéchalière: Tasting & Drinking
As I have already indicated in my run-through of the wines of Marc Pesnot wines, it is La Bohème that really appeals to me, although I have enjoyed drinking and tasting many of the other wines also produced here. I have to admit I found the latest vintage of Labourriou I tasted a little fizzy ‘n’ funky, but it is quite likely – having spotted the Equinoxe on the top of the label – that without the protection of sulphur dioxide this wine probably experienced a little refermentation in the bottle. And this is despite the fact it was a well-cared for bottle, held in a cool Scottish cellar.
