Michel Autran: Tasting & Drinking
Michel has hit the ground running in 2011 and 2012, as both vintages of Les Enfers Tranquilles have an attractive character. These were both difficult years in the Vouvray appellation, so this is a significant achievement. The 2013 vintage also brought its challenges, and so the fact that the 2013 Les Enfers Tranquilles was even better is noteworthy. In fact, this is one of the best wines in Vouvray in the 2013 vintage. From a new parcel, the 2013 Le Ciel Rouge communicated the difficulties of the vintage a little more clearly.
