Château de Bois Brinçon: Tasting & Drinking
Xavier Cailleau has a fascinating collection of vineyards at his disposal and his work in bringing these terroirs through to be expressed in his portfolio of wines is admirable. Having tasted a handful of wines from the 2011, 2012 and 2013 vintages the whites certainly outshone the reds, although this is not really a fair comparison as all three seasons favoured the white varieties over the red, although to be fair some red appellations have done well in 2011 so perhaps we should expect more from this vintage.
