Château Peyrabon: Tasting & Drinking
Château Peyrabon is one of a small number of properties in the Haut-Médoc appellation just to the west of Pauillac in what I have described elsewhere as something of a Cru Bourgeois ‘hot spot’. The wines of Château Peyrabon are reliable, solid, perhaps a little foursquare at times, and thus while I think this an estate worth knowing about I am not convinced it operates at the same level as its near neighbours, Château Liversan and Château Ramage La Batisse, particularly the latter of the two.
