Château Pavie-Macquin: Tasting & Drinking
With the Thienpont-Derenoncourt duo running the domaine it is perhaps not surprising that the wines produced in recent vintages have been able to impress. They have been running the vineyard and cellars since the mid-1990s, giving them plenty of time to understand the terroir and what it is capable of. That they both grasped this potential, and then realised it, seems to have been confirmed by the promotion that came in 2006.
