Château La Gravière: Tasting & Drinking
The wines of Château La Gravière are solid examples of Lalande-de-Pomerol which permit a glimpse at the house style, without breaking the bank. The estate sometimes suffers in difficult vintages, especially frosted years, when naturally the effort goes mostly into protecting the vines at Château Le Gay and Château La Violette. The wines drink well young, and I would not focus on cellaring them for a prolonged period of time. (17/11/21)
