The Archive: Vega Sicilia
Here I present some old tasting notes on the wines of Vega Sicilia, a rightly famed estate in Ribera del Duero. These notes are quite dated, and largely come from a tasting of the estate’s wines I attended back in 2003.
In recent years I have only tended to report on these wines in the context of anniversary tastings, such as my Fifteen, Twenty and Twenty-Five Years On reports, so look there for more recent notes. For other dusty old notes, check out the rest of my Archive. (30/5/20)
