The Archive: Bandol
While within the Winedoctor walls I focus on Bordeaux and the Loire Valley, I do have many other tasting notes lurking in the background that may be of interest. Here I present a selection of old tasting notes on various wines from the Bandol appellation. Some of these notes are from tastings or bottles tasted at home, but many were written during two visits to the region in 2005 and 2008, and are thus generally quite dated.
In recent years I have only tended to report on these wines (especially those of Domaine Tempier) in the context of anniversary tastings, such as my Fifteen, Twenty and Twenty-Five Years On reports, so look there for more recent notes.
