Château Larose-Trintaudon: Tasting & Drinking
Historically, and perhaps not surprisingly, with such a huge estate to work, the wines of Château Larose-Trintaudon have not always been the most impressive. Neither the 2011 nor the 2012 gave cause to set off any fireworks, perhaps not shocking news as neither vintage has a stellar reputation, but the 2010 could not manage to put on a more convincing show and that is somewhat telling. The 2014 was rather ordinary as well, as might be expected in this rather challenging vintage which I have generally found to be rather light and ordinary, although I know many members of the wine trade seem to have a higher opinion of it.
