Domaine des Bérioles: Tasting & Drinking
Jean, Jérôme and Sophie make a strong range of wines here, with plenty of attractive and interesting cuvées, in white as well as red. But for me it is the Trésaille cuvée that steals the show, a combination of floral fruit with the most racy acidity you can imagine, neither softened nor obscured by unnecessary oak or malolactic fermentation. The 2015 Trésaille was a delight, and I wholly expect the 2016 to be of the same standard based on my very early tasting. (13/10/17)
