Château Tournefeuille: Tasting & Drinking
Château Tournefeuille is one of the leading estates in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation, alongside other long-established and historic properties in this long overlooked corner of Bordeaux, including Château Siaurac, Château Les Cruzelles, Château La Fleur de Boüard and Château Les Hauts-Conseillants.
Looking at recent vintages, there are some obvious candidates for the cellar. First choice has to be the cuvée parcellaire La Cure, with the 2022 and 2018 vintages being strong options. The grand vin performs well in these and comparable vintages; look to 2023, 2022, 2020 and 2019 first of all. (25/3/26)
