Loïc Mahé: Tasting & Drinking
Some domaines seem as though they have always been there; of course they haven’t, it is just that they had an established name and reputation at the time you or I started drinking wine. Of the newcomers, some domaines seem to explode into existence; one moment you encounter this unknown, unfamiliar name, then suddenly you seem to be reading about them everywhere. Others, meanwhile, sidle into your wine consciousness. Loïc Mahé is one of the latter I think, although this is perhaps a very personal impression.
