Château Fourcas Hosten: Tasting & Drinking
Having tasted various vintages of Château Fourcas Hosten over the years it seems to me that this estate is a source of good value Bordeaux, a commonly touted and yet in fact rarely encountered beast. Indeed, within the Listrac-Médoc appellation, I think this estate often turns out one of the most attractive wines, and yet it seems to be regularly overlooked in favour of neighbours with slightly higher public profiles, in particular Château Fourcas Dupré, Château Saransot-Dupré or Château Clarke.
