Didier Chaffardon: Tasting & Drinking
The wines of Didier Chaffardon are in the typical naturalista style; they are bright and fresh wines, full of vivacious flavour. They are wines for fun and enjoyment, not for obsessing over or cellaring for decades. The wines, in my limited experience, are of variable quality, but isn’t that often the case at any domaine. Some wines press your buttons, and others don’t. I confess I’m not a fan of the Rouzé, which seems to lack a sense of identity, but some wines here are certainly very drinkable.
