Domaine de Montrieux: Tasting & Drinking
The most striking feature of these wines under Ariane Lesné has to be not the principal variety, even though it is never seen beyond the borders of the Loire Valley, but the length of time dedicated to the cuvaison. The young wines spend their first ten weeks macerating, and coming to them for the first time I expected this to come across very clearly on the palate.
