Domaine de la Lande: Tasting & Drinking
The wines of Domaine de la Lande are charming, honest and in the case of the more serious cuvées, they offer real interest. The first three cuvées seem on paper to offer a progression in terms of quality, with regard to vine age, soil type and maceration, but I am not sure there is really that much difference between them, and when tasting I have found that I sometimes prefer the Cuvée Domaine (which you would naturally presume to be the entry-level offering) to, for example, the Cuvée Les Graviers in the same vintage. And the Cuvée Les Pins can be convincingly superior to both.
