Domaine de L’A: Tasting & Drinking
There are not too many vintages of Domaine de L’A out there, and I certainly have not tasted them all, and thus my experience of Domaine de L’A is limited to a handful of wines. Nevertheless, these are exciting wines. They will be written off by many, of course. Those who see Bordeaux as dull, perhaps, compared to the intricacies of Burgundy, or the wilder passions of Bandol or Châteauneuf du Pape. And there are those who favour Bordeaux but will still turn their noses up at ‘rustic’, ‘country’ wines such as these in favour of only the most famous domaines, and the grandest appellations.
