Casa Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc
(Chile) 2000: A pale wine. An
attractive grassy, white fruit nose, with a background

this wine is very similar in style to the Casa
Lapostolle. Buttery, slightly estery fruit. The palate is
laden with oak, with buttery caramel toffee, and
sufficient acidity. 14/20 (£9.49)

Casa Lapostolle
Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile) 1999: Very green on the

Casa Lapostolle Clos
Apalta (Chile) 1997: A rich, glossy, typically
Chilean red-purple hue. Slightly toffee oak on the nose,

time. 15+/20 (£15.99)

Miranda Family
Reserve Old Vine Sparkling Shiraz (Australia) 1994:
This sparkling wine is made by injecting gas into the
wine under pressure, rather than the traditional method
of second fermentation in bottle, or even the lesser method of
second fermentation in tank. It has a pale orange-red hue.
Sharp acidity on the palate, with forward red fruits, and
a streak of chocolate. The mousse is almost non-existent. 14/20 (£13.99)
