Domaine de la Prose Coteaux du Languedoc St Georges d'Orques 1999: A good, rich colour, but quite transparent. Some stewed, macerated fruit on the nose at first, with some pepper and cloves. Later a touch of volatile acidity becomes apparent. Full, rounded fruit on the palate, with a warm, almost creamy texture - helped by 14% alcohol. Not much tannin but some nice grip.
