Prà Soave Classico Superiore Monte Grande 2001: This is the Prà brothers' unoaked cuvée. A pale golden yellow. The nose is very expressive and delightful, with plenty of lime and lemon fruit, white pepper spice, and a rich, bready opulence. This opulence shows through on the palate, which is rich and weighty, but nicely balanced with fresh acidity. There's plenty of ripe stone fruit and citrus flavours, and more spicy white pepper notes. Brilliant stuff. 16.5/20 (7/4/03)
