Prà Soave Classico Colle Sant' Antonio 1999

Prà Soave Classico Colle Sant' Antonio (Veneto) 1999: Pale golden hue. Baked bread nuances, perhaps barrique-derived, and minerals on the nose. The palate is delicious, full of stone and mineral flavoured white fruits, with superb, biting, food friendly acidity. Notes of lemon and thyme on the endpalate. This is brilliant, full-flavoured stuff. 17/20 (7/11/03)
