Chateau de Fieuzal Blanc 1994

Chateau de Fieuzal Blanc (Pessac-Léognan) 1994: A lovely pale golden hue. Very appealing on the nose, which has ripe pears, stone fruit and minerals, with a rounded, mealy smoky edge. Delicious weight on the palate, lean and elegant yet mouthfilling, good acidity, delightfully balanced. Citrus fruits with a hint of the tropics. Wonderful concentration on the lingering finish. Plenty of potential here for development in bottle. 17/20 (10/1/03)
