Chateau la Casenove Côtes du Roussillon 'La Garrigue' 2000

Chateau la Casenove Côtes du Roussillon 'La Garrigue' 2000: Dark, pure, red-black hue. Good nose, of dark fruits, and a little touch of rubber, and an appealing low level of Brett. Sweetly textured, integrated and almost seamless on entry. Moderate acidity helps to foster the sweet and creamy mouthfeel. There is a little grip though, and brawny-Bretty fruit, as well as some sweet ripe tannins which show well in the finish. I like this very much indeed as I don't have a problem with a little Brett.
